Operating standards

Compliance

Captured Cases sells personalised phone cases online and from our Bracknell kiosk. This page explains the standards we work to so customers, staff and venue partners know what to expect.

Kiosk trading

Our operating standard is to keep venue permission, public liability insurance, kiosk risk assessment and staff attendance arrangements current before trading from The Lexicon or any other public retail location.

Kiosk staff should follow centre rules, keep displays tidy, avoid aggressive selling and only hand out promotional material when it is appropriate for the location.

Fair trading

Prices, delivery charges and product options should be shown clearly before checkout. Customers receive order details and can contact us if a case arrives damaged, incorrect or materially different from the agreed design.

Product descriptions, case compatibility and print previews are guides, but the final printed case must match the selected phone model, case type and uploaded artwork as closely as the process allows.

Customer data

We collect the details needed to make, deliver and support an order. Uploaded images are retained only for the stated operational window unless we need them for a live support issue.

Optional marketing insight questions, such as where a customer heard about us or who the order is for, are used to understand demand and improve the service. Customers do not have to answer them to place an order.

Waste and materials

Packaging, misprints and kiosk waste should be handled through venue or commercial waste arrangements. Staff should not leave print waste, packaging or promotional material in public areas.

When we use third-party suppliers or couriers, we expect them to handle parcels and customer information responsibly.

Reporting a concern

If you spot an issue with an order, product listing, privacy notice, kiosk display or staff process, contact us and include the order reference where relevant. We will review it and update the process where needed.
